We booked Pop Rocks through Jay Siegan Presents this past weekend and they did an awesome job! They worked the crowd, catered their playlist to our requests (a.k.a. Demands via chants :) and made everyone feel like rockstars. I would recommend them for a corporate event or a wedding. Good times were had by all...and I'm still humming Journey tunes at my desk. Just wanted to send you a thank you note for playing at our holiday party. Everyone had such a great time and to have you there providing the fun was the perfect fit for us. You guys were so 'tight', talented, and professional. But most of all FUN!
I don't think I've ever seen a band get their audience and their guests participating and so involved with the fun you were providing.
It was great to see how much fun everyone was having.
I've already spread the word about you to folks within the company. And, you'll be my first thought when we coordinate a party with live music.

Seeing "Pop Rocks" for the first time at Raley Field several weeks ago, I was very impressed. It isn't often that a band can conjure up the kind of excitement these guys bring to the stage while doing mostly "cover tunes." With each concert they also bring a theme to the stage. Raley Field found them dressed as airline pilots. At Harlow's they came to the stage dressed as Trekkie's. The week before they appeared as Pirates of the Caribbean. Right away you know that these guys are going to have fun up there. What an amazing show!

I'm typing this with a sore throat and a wife who lost her voice, both which have a great deal to do with singing like mad with Pop Rocks during the finale. I really can't say enough good things about the band. From the moment when Julie and I ran into the lead singer right after the ceremony when he was walking to get ready and he was super nice and friendly and told us how excited he was to be there, to how the whole band played with an awesome energy even at the beginning before the dance floor got popping (which it did after a few songs and then some) to the finale when they had everyone on the dance floor going nuts, they really made the whole night extra special. When we started planning this wedding (and even in the time before we were engaged and we'd go to other weddings), Julie always stuck to the same mantra: a great wedding starts with a great band. Got to have it...and we did. We're so appreciative for all of their hard work and insane fun and for making our special day that much more special. Like I said, I really can't say enough except thank you, a thousand times thank you to all the guys in Pop Rocks and to everyone at your company who helped make this happen. We couldn't have been happier.

I'm sure Jeff and Julie are a little busy, so it may be a few days before they respond. From an event planners point of view, the band was a dream to work with. They arrived on time, if not early, they adhered to the timeline, they were incredibly easy going, they were not demanding, they got the crowd excited and knew just what to play and when. From an outside perspective, it looked like Jeff, Julie and their friends were having a blast and there was even a dance off halfway through their first set which was amazing! I know the band was Julie's #1 most important element of the wedding and I think they lived up to the expectations.
The sound folks were professional, nice and accommodating. I know I will certainly be recommending Pop Rocks for future weddings.
